Exciting things have been happening at Bett HQ this week. Microsoft will be the new knowledge partner for the Bett Arena, our new 1000-seat amphitheatre which will play host to inspiring and internationally-renowned speakers.
Speakers confirmed so far are Professor Sugata Mitra, Professor of Education Technology at Newcastle University, whose work inspired the film Slumdog Millionaire; Baronness Susan Greenfield, Professor of Pharmacology at Oxford University, who has been awarded 30 honorary degrees from British and foreign universities and heads a multi-disciplinary research group exploring novel brain mechanisms linked to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s; and Lucian Tarnowski, founder of Bravenewtalent.com, who is on a mission to create a new model of professional education and has been honoured as a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum.
As the knowledge partner, Microsoft will play a key role at the show, working with us to help shape and mould the rich programme of content, and share its expertise.
Throughout the four days of the show, the Bett Arena speakers will share their thoughts into the latest trends and research in technology and learning. We’ll be confirming more speakers from September on our Conferences & Workshops page, so to ensure you stay in the loop, sign up for updates.
